The below list shows the average costs for different types of moves, but only for the better priced & more efficient moving companies (ignoring the others).
These past averages are for average situation types and so are not an "estimate" or guaranteed price for your situation, but these averages can help you better judge whether you think your situation might require more or less time and expense than these averages.
All of these below listed average costs are also referring to customers who have their own smaller items already boxed up and ready to go (not counting the boxing/packing supply costs), moving from one place to another within the Eugene and Springfield area. Variables such out-of-town jobs, assembling bunk beds & baby cribs, long distance carrying, you needing more boxing help, elevators, stairs, and you wanting TVs mounted on walls, can add to these averages.
AVERAGE COSTS
ONSITE LABOR ONLY
One mover up to two hours: $110
Two movers up to two hours: $220
ONE-MAN DELIVERIES OF A COUPLE THINGS
One man delivery of just a couple things under 150 lbs. each, that a single mover can handle and fit in a pick up truck or van: $85.
TWO-MAN DELIVERIES OF A COUPLE THINGS
Two man local pick up and delivery of one or two quick easy items (under 300 lb. ea.), like a sofa & loveseat: $175 (+$20 if flights of stairs).
ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT
Usually range from $290 to $600, depending on volume, stairs, elevators & carry distance.
TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT
Usually range from $400 to $800, depending on volume, stairs, elevators & carry distance.
TWO BEDROOM HOUSE
Usually range from $500 to $1,200.
THREE BEDROOM HOUSE
Usually range from $900 to $2,000.
FOUR BEDROOM HOUSE
Usually range from $1,600 to $2,900 for smaller less expensive houses, or from $3,000 to $4,900 for big houses with a lot of high end furniture.
LOAD ONLY
Load only of a full ABF (U-Pac) trailer,
(full load, full trailer): $1,300 to $2,000
Load only of a 26' U-Haul: $1,000 avg., (8 to 12)
Load only of a 16' PODS container: $500 to $600
Load only of a 15' U-Haul: $300 to $450
Emptying out several rooms in your house, into your garage or into a PODS: $220
UNLOAD ONLY
Unload only of a full ABF trailer,
(full load, full trailer): $600 to $1,000
Unload only of a 16' PODS container: $300
Unload only of a 26' U-Haul: $300 to $450
Unload only of a 15' U-Haul: $220
Returning several rooms furniture, from your garage or PODS, back into house: $220
